Ice Bucket Challenge Accepted by Honda North America
There’s a bit of a sensation sweeping all across the country that’s just as hilarious as it is beneficial: the ice bucket challenge. Helping to spread awareness of ALS – also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease – and the ALS Association. Participants dump a bucket of ice water on their heads, nominate others to do the same, and donate to help find a cure for ALS.
And now, Honda North America President and CEO Takuji Yamada, along with EVP of Auto Sales John Mendel, have accepted the challenge and it’s pretty funny! Take a look at the video below and get inspired to do it as well.
Even if you don’t pour ice water on yourself, we urge you to donate even just a dollar to the association; any amount will help towards finding a cure. However, if you need to pick up some ice bags from the store, do it in the driver’s seat of a stylish new Honda! We here at Commonwealth Honda are ready and waiting to help you find one perfect for all your driving needs.
